Australian MotoGP Circuit

Located in the northern city of Melbourne, Phillip Island, which was originally a street circuit has become a place of subscription in the title race in Australia since 1920. Until finally in the 50's a circuit permanent replacement of the old street circuit built in the same place.

The circuit then becomes where various activities such as karting racing, Superbike and Australian V8 until now. Phillip Island was first entered into MotoGP racing calendar in 1989 and 1990.

After that in 1997 Phillip Island continues to be a subscribed host MotoGP until now. The scenery is beautiful and challenging circuit layout makes this circuit a favorite circuit several racers including host driver Casey Stoner.
